We were selling my mother-in-law's house and live 1,000 miles away. Phil met with us at our convenience to consider what needed to be done to get the house ready to show. In just over two months over the fall, an acceptable offer was received; we pushed the price up a little bit which was accepted and was the highest price per square foot received since the Great Recession began in that development. We had only two weeks from acceptance to closing. After the buyers completed the house inspection, there were several relatively small items to take care of; Phil got a contractor in to take care of them and got the termite and HVAC inspections done. He even helped us pack the truck to get the remaining household items out and made several trips to the dump to get rid of stuff so that we could close on-time, three days before Christmas, with a satisfied buyer.
