My husband and I had absolutely zero experience when it came to purchasing a home. In our 40's, we were a little nervous about the home-buying process. We requested a realtor meet with us through Austin Realty's website. Kevin contacted us quickly and we made an appointment to meet. He gave a quick 101 in Home Buying. Thinking that we weren't quite ready to purchase a home, Kevin's knowledge made us feel comfortable about beginning our search. He made time for us whenever we wanted to see a house, both in the evenings and on weekends. As we looked through several homes, he helped us understand what to look for in homes and definitely what to "watch out" for. My husband and I moved into our new house in Round Rock, and we couldn't be happier with our experience buying with Realty Austin. As a long-distance military couple, we've had our share of "nightmare" real estate experiences, but Realty Austin's Kevin McCarthy was GREAT! Kevin was knowledgable, accommodating to our hectic schedules, and up on the latest technology to speed up documents. We flew in over a weekend to view properties, and he made himself very available both before and during and helped us search efficiently during our long stretch. We also LOVED that he could do all of our documents digitally with digital signatures on our iphone which was WAY easier for us than faxing and paper copies as we were currently living in a military hotel on a TDY assignment during the closing. I don't know how we would have done it so quickly and smoothly without him! We would highly recommend him to other couples relocating to the area!
