We have been vacationing in the Acadia area for years and have always wanted to buy our dream home there. When the opportunity to buy presented itself we started with Zillow!That was the easy part. Real Estate Agent? That was another story. We knew the area, but not any Real Estate Professionals. Using Zillow, I read over several reviews of different Agents. Everyone who reviewed Steve Shelton said the same thing...they loved his manner, local knowledge, his way of "hearing" what your needs were etc. Enough said, let's give him a shout. We did and the rest is, as they say, history. We exchanged several emails about what we were looking for along with some potential homes.This was a crazy time for us as we were trying to buy our forever home in Maine, but at the same time were being relocated to Ohio (renting). We didn't give Steve a whole lot of notice and were having to work with a very tight time schedule. There was no wasted time on homes that someone else might have tried to push. We set a budget and he stayed in it. He knew we wanted waterfront and showed us how we could make that happen. We have our forever home and are happy to call Steve Shelton our Real Estate Professional and now, neighbor.
