Prior to being introduced to Shelby, I had been visiting places on my own in Boulder. I wanted to get a feel of Boulder before contacting an agent. While that gave me some idea, my experience with Shelby is that she really showed me what is out there and how to manage the decision-making of buying a house in the Boulder market. I was a first time buyer, and I am very lucky to have been introduced to Shelby. She was able to intersect with my priorities, which were not set in stone and were being crystallized during the process. We saw many houses, put offers on a number of them, and when I needed to negotiate or back out, we did. I am very happy with the house I just bought. It fits me ! While the fit is about the house itself, the satisfaction also comes from having seen the houses I did with Shelby and gotten to know the market.

It's hard to know where to begin in my review of Shelby! For eight years Shelby has been an excellent realtor for both me and my husband, and also a true friend. Shelby has flawlessly executed six real estate transactions for us and we have the utmost confidence in her abilities to negotiate on our behalf. These deals consisted of both purchases and sales of single family and condos/town homes. Last winter, she contacted us about a newly listed condo. We jumped on her recommendation, and Shelby negotiated a successful outcome in a multiple offer situation, a common occurrence in Boulder. Because of this long and ongoing relationship, I recommended Shelby to two close friends who had just moved to Boulder and had super complex transactions. She is still assisting them as a trusted consultant and friend during their long building process.Shelby is incredibly knowledgeable of the market and very efficient in her work. She has a can-do attitude and is always able to negotiate a creative solution to any issue that may arise. I once asked Shelby if we had done more transactions together than any of her other clients and she surprised me with a "no". Apparently repeat business is not rare in Shelby's case but very common!In addition to her expertise as a realtor, Shelby is a kind and caring person. These qualities are evident in her professional as well as her personal life. I have and would enthusiastically recommend Shelby to anyone living in Boulder or out-of town looking to buy or sell a home around this special town we call home! 10 Stars!
