We cannot say enough wonderful things about our realtor, Julia Fortin and the Banner Team. As first time home-buyers we were overwhelmed with the process and reached out to friends for recommendations. We selected Julia based on the fantastic recommendation from our friends and her experience in the area that we were hoping to buy in. Julia was incredibly responsive to all of our questions and did a great job finding different properties for us to consider.She was with us every step of the way providing guidance and support and humor! call Julia super-woman, Buying a house in this crazy and uncertain market is really not an easy task. Michelle Teichberg and the Banner Team came highly recommended to my wife and me, and after working with them, we will recommend them to everyone. My parents-in-law were helped by Michelle Teichberg with their previous home purchases and sales and were very happy with her service, so we felt comfortable hiring her as well.The specifics of our buying process are what make Michelle and the Banner Team so special. We were prepared to buy quickly and we bought our home in Bethesda, Maryland while still living in California. From the first conversation to an accepted offer took us only a week. And to make it even more exciting, the first time we saw our home in person was the day before settlement. This required immediate trust from the very first conversation.Once we established our needs/wants and budget, Michelle got to work right away. Prepared with her iPhone and a mastery of how to show a home over FaceTime, Michelle identified a handful of homes that fit our parameters. It was the fourth house that hit the nail on the head and we prepared an offer just a few hours after viewing it. Michelle knows the Bethesda and Potomac markets well, and knew we'd face competition so we had to act fast. To speed up the process, we reviewed the necessary offer paperwork before we even decided on a house. These couple hours of preemptive work along with Michelle's negotiation skills were, without a doubt, the factors that got our offer accepted.Excited and eager, upon arriving two weeks later to see the house we had committed to buy, we were delighted to see that everything was in the same order and condition as conveyed by Michelle and her streaming video. The next day, Michelle helped guide us through the closing process without a hitch. As first-time home buyers, working with someone who was so informative, patient, and knowledgeable were key.
