When I started Westchester Home Consultants in 2018, I had a vision to completely revolutionize the home inspection experience. After spending 5 years as a real estate salesperson I saw the experience of getting a home inspection was less than ideal for many of my clients. The vast majority of home inspectors were very skilled in the act of performing an inspection, but were lacking in business operations and customer service skills. I envisioned a home inspection company that could meet both the technical challenges of assessing the condition of a home, while also being responsive to the needs for fast turnaround on report delivery, scheduling flexibility, broad coverage area and excellent support when questions invariably arise after the inspection. The decision to open up a home inspection company was easy. Flipping homes with my partner and brother provided me with valuable experience about the different home components and systems. However, I knew if I wanted to provide the most informative experience for my clients and the agents who refer us I needed to know how a home was built. While studying to become a home inspector I went to work for a homebuilder, building homes from the ground up around Westchester and Putnam County. Fast forward 4 years and I have helped over 1000 homebuyers, sellers and real estate professionals learn about homeownership.
