Mary Blevins, Owner and President of Dream Mountain Realty, is an educated and experienced broker whose team is ready to assist any buyer or seller with their dream purchase. With 10 years mortgage - lending experience and NC Insurance sales experience; Mary has the background to counsel first time homebuyers or help those who are in the high end market. “I began my career working in the Credit Union organization where we were taught to help people with their needs, not sell them services they did not need. I have continued to keep those values in Dream Mountain Realty that I opened in 2007.” Remaining in the business for over 16 years has helped Mary gain knowledge and to master how to serve her clients the best. Mary holds several designations that add to her skill: Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource (SFR), Certified Short Sale Seller (CSSS), Strategic Pricing Specialist (SPS), Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), and Luxury Homes Certificate (LHC). Mary also graduated Magna Cum Laude Honors with a Degree in Organizational Management and Development from Lees McRae College. She was also named on the National Dean's List, obtaining two Associate degrees from Mayland Community College prior. As a lifelong resident of Yancey County, Mary knows the area well. She married her high school sweetheart and has one daughter, Jenna. “Burnsville is a special place with good hearted people.
