Mary Tutt

I began my career in mortgage lending in 1986 while living at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Starting out in the set-up department, then working in processing, closing, post-closing, underwriting, and auditing gives me a unique perspective on every aspect of the mortgage process. I try to pass on my knowledge to my customers and to professional partners so the reason behind the requirements is understood. The mortgage industry is constantly undergoing changes and being on top of the changes is very important to a smooth transaction. I love my job. Working with first-time homebuyers, someone buying a dream home, down-sizing, or helping someone to refinance their home to better their financial or personal situation is a true blessing. Communication is one of my strongest points and is very important throughout the process for the clients and referring partners. Everyone needs to be kept informed, so the stress levels don't skyrocket.
