My specific specialty is in renovation mortgages, which are loans that combine the money to buy, or refinance, real estate with money needed for repairs and renovation, at a low fixed rate and fixed payment. We are able to do this by looking at the "after repair value" of the property, in other words, what the property will be worth after the repairs are completed. This allows us to lend more with a lower downpayment than competing alternatives.
