We closed two weeks ago on the sale of our home and land in Santa Fe County. Yancy worked with us every step of the way. Our home of 29 years is on 2.5 acres of land with a solar array and carport with storage garage. We had deferred some maintenance on the home. After attempting to sell the home aEURoeas isaEUR? for a short period of time, Yancy recommended the Refresh and Refurbish Program offered through his company. The program enabled us to update and repair flooring, paint and appliances. The major focus was on the primary bathroom and kitchen which were very dated and worn. Yancy worked with project manager Peter Chandler to make this easy on us and make our home very marketable. We were able to sell the home for $65,000 more than the as is price. Throughout the process Yancy did a fantastic job of communicating regularly with us. He promptly followed up on all of our questions/issues and needs for clarification along the way. Yancy was always professional, friendly and great at problem solving. The most memorable part of working with Yancy was not just the excellent completion of needed tasks, but the manner in which he accomplished them. He brought joy and fun to what could have been an overwhelming process. We highly recommend the R&R Program and Yancy Whitaker to be on your team when you are selling your home. Yancy is such a wonderful human being. He has such an outgoing personality, Kept us in the loop every step of the way. Him and hes team have a great communication amongst each other as well as with the title office. Always clarified any doubts we had or questions and if he didnt have an answer right away he always investigated for us. Our communication was beyond outstanding we truly did work as a team to make buying a home possible for my family and I. Buying a home is already so stressful but yancy breaks it down and helps out as much as he can. Never once did we go without communicating wed always either call or text throughout the week to see what was happening or how things were going. He would contact our loan officer to see how things were flowing or to help push when things werent getting down on their end. He wasnt just our realtor but more like a friend who became like family to us. I clearly remember when he mentioned to me the property and we first walked into our now home and it was getting renovated I wasnt too convinced about it and Yancy told me aEURoegive it some time we will come back in 2 weeks and see itaEUR? and sure enough I loved it the job that the R&R program did was wow something else.
