We didn?t know where to start and seemingly had hundreds of decisions to make with a breadth of financial and home-living factors to consider. All of which would?ve been overwhelming if it weren?t for Winnie and Willis. With them, we always felt informed and prepared. There were never any surprises.We asked every conceivable question. Questions about process and paperwork, offer strategy, market trends, home decor and renovations ? and they always responded with thoughtful and layered answers. We always got context, and the pros and cons of every option. Willis and Winnie are thorough, and they remained patient and understanding even when I was being annoying lol.Winnie brought us home, holding our hand through contract, escrow, and closing. Her eye for design perfectly complements Willis?s experience with development/contractors. Their collective knowledge of home renovations are just as valuable as their insights as agents. It was incredibly helpful to know which of our renovation ideas were possible, with a breakdown of how much each would cost, so we could factor that into our finances. After closing, they even program managed our renovations, lining up contractors (which can be a nightmare) so there was no delay in our move-in date. True end-to-end service.They took our calls and text at odd hours, on weekends, even on their vacations. I can?t count the number of times my partner and I called them freaking out about something. Only for them to calmly talk us off the ledge and reassure us. Those impromptu therapy sessions were exactly what we needed.That?s just the type of people they are. They understand how important buying a home is and empathize with their clients. It?s genuine care. They don?t just want their client to buy a house; they want you to be happy. There?s a difference. And that type of empathy and attention to detail stands out. I can?t imagine surviving this process without them, and am forever grateful for their hard work.

ZillowVERIFIEDAs far as buyers agents go, I cannot more highly recommend Winnie and Willis. The moment I knew that they were different was when they talked me and my fiance out of buying the first property that we saw with them. This probably could have been a quick and healthy commission for them, but because they are such genuinely kind and good people who looked out for our best interests, they helped us realize that the house was not a good fit for a couple hoping to grow a family. They then stuck it out with us for 4 more months until we finally found our first home--the one that checked more boxes than anything else we saw. During those 4 months, they went above and beyond to answer all of our questions, seeing several homes with us weekend after weekend. To top if off, they have the unique expertise (general contractor) and interpersonal skills to make you feel like youre house-hunting with a very qualified family member/Chip & Jo, which made it all very enjoyable and approachable.All in all, they are a rare duo who are incredibly kind, genuine, personable, experienced and knowledgeable. They?re awesome to work with, hardworking, responsive, super knowledgeable, not pushy at all.My partner and I are first time home buyers and were looking for a SFH in Oakland in June 2021 (crazy right) and got our home a month after. First, Winnie and Willis walked us through the process, recommended an awesome lender to us (we closed in less than 21 days!), and told us a lot about the different neighborhoods in Oakland.We spent a few Sundays together looking at houses, and boy did we really spend hours upon hours looking. I myself felt tired after, but Willis always maintained great energy and professionalism. Winnie and Willis always followed up through text and answered all the questions we had. They have construction experience, and it was so valuable to have them point out issues, repair estimates, and suggest renovation ideas. We end up putting 2 offers on a house, and throughout the process, they asked the right questions to gauge how much we wanted the house to make sure we were making the right decisions.
