We found Barney to be extremely knowledgeable of the area, and he got us up to speed very quickly on the key dynamics to consider in this geography. He was available when we needed him and extremely responsive at all hours. With his guidance, we feel that we reached a very fair and competitive price for the home we purchased. He is well connected in the area.

Barney has extensive knowledge of the LAKE GASTON AREA . He provided great advertising and caparisons on the market. Also, he made sure to get back to us quickly, with the answers to any questions we had. We were very happy that we switched to him from another real estate agency in the area. They had lead us down the wrong path for nearly a year. With Barney our house sold in about 3 months.GREAT WORK BARNEY !!
Barney was the very best when it came to selling our home! He was realtor for us and the buyer, so I left the negotiation skills blank because I believe he tried to remain neutral. He did give us a lot of information when it came to pricing our home. We had a buyer in about a month. However, we ran into a major issue in closing the sale, which involved our home being on a utility easement. Barney worked extremely hard finding each neighbor and getting them to sign the paperwork our lawyer had drawn up in order to close. I don't think this closing would have ever happened with another realtor. It was a vacation home, so he did it ALL! I miss the lake and plan to buy another at some point. Barney will be our realtor! If you want someone to work for you, pick Barney.

Came in strong with all the printed documents to use as comps which impressive but fell short soon thereafter. Made errors in every single document sent - documents of high importance and relevance. Listed the house but didn't show it - Another real estate agent sold it. Never put any fliers up. Had wrong photos in our online listings and when we advised him that building photographed was not on our property, he stated he would check with the owner of the lot next door to verify - as if we did not know what was our property and what was not. Our counter-offer was not even presented apparently b/c he didn't think it was a good idea? although the buyers wanted ALL furniture which was not listed or mentioned. At closing, there was an issue and I had to handle it alone. He waived his hand as if to say 'Deal with it' while the buyer's real estate agent was assertively representing the buyers. Barney was extremely knowledgeable about the home buying market of Lake Gaston's real estate, and he simplified the home buying process for us. He was easy to work with and eased our anxiety about purchasing a vacation home. We would recommend Barney to anyone who is looking to purchase waterfront property on Lake Gaston or around the lake.
Barney accomplished precisely what we asked him to do for us. We needed to sell our house as quickly as possible for the best price. We did just that and were extremely satisfied. Barney is very knowledgeable and in touch with the real estate market around Lake Gaston. We could not have selected a better agent for the sale of our house.
We listed our home w/one agent, but she retired and Barney took her place. He has been very attentive and given immediate replies everytime we tried to get in touch with him. He was quick to find answers to questions . When we ran into a problem, he worked w/us with a lot of patience and assurance.Hewas honest with us about what would sell our house and still be fair to us. We were able to selll it with his help. I would recommend him.
