Huan represented my wife Jennifer and I on our home purchase in Pasadena, CA. This was not an easy or ideal escrow from the start. The seller and sellers agent lived in Taiwan. In addition to the time difference we were dealing with a difficult sellers agent. On multiple occasions the seller and sellers agent failed to perform their necessary duties. Whether it be turning over required disclosures, signed documents or even providing answers to basic inquiries there were always delays and excuses. The sellers agent failed on multiple occasions to follow through. If it were not for Huan's tenacity, attention to detail and persistence this escrow would have fallen apart. Repeatedly she would reach out to the buyers agent through email or WeChat and often get ignored and or disregarded. It was often puzzling for us since at times it felt like they wanted this transaction to fall apart. Originally slated for a 30 day escrow they caused delays to the process and had to extend to a 45 day and then ultimately a 47 day escrow. At one point, it looked like the deal would fall apart since my rate had been initially locked for 22 days which should not have been an issue. But as result of escrow going longer than expected my rate was set to expire which would have been catastrophic. Luckily my mortgage broker was able to get a free rate extension. All through this process, Huan demonstrated great organization and attention to detail. She kept us informed of the progress and continued to do her best to keep this escrow moving forward. We always felt Huan was working for us. She is very customer oriented and is always pleasant and upbeat. We really appreciate her steadiness through this whole transaction. We would gladly refer her to friends because we know she cares about her clients.
