When I first started looking in the area, I had only visited the area once, and it was my first home buying experience. I had rented for years, so I knew the process of searching, but renting is only looking at your room, and what other common areas are provided. Home buying is an entirely different process.After finding some houses that seemed to fit my requirements, I got in contact with another realtor who assured me he knew the area. I gave him my list of houses I was interested in but weeks went by with no reply. I then decided to contact Bill, having moved no closer to even touring a house. Within a week, he had eliminated houses he knew had issues and had lined up 3 tours that very weekend.None of the houses ended up being a good fit, but it was a start to looking at houses and with my first touring experience, I could now narrow in on what I was looking for, even if I had to adjust my initial requirements. At first, I was just giving him a list of potential houses but then he started finding potential matches as well.Once a house was picked, he was very knowledgeable with how to proceed, often knowing the selling realtor to ask what was the status on the house and knowing what the general are of the house meant in terms of issues down the road. He was able to negotiate with the seller in order to get commitments on fixes for any issues I noted during the tour and helped me find an inspector, an attorney, and a loan officer to guide me all the way to the closing date.As a first home purchase, the task seemed daunting at first and I was glad that COVID allowed me to work from home, but when I was finally ready to move, Bill had my back through the entire process.

I was very lucky to have found the right realtor at the right time through Zillow. I was very ready to purchase before the start of the school year and knew the competitiveness of the market. I found something I liked through Zillow but just after contacting Bill Spinelli, we were told the placed already had an accepted offer.Then, I told him my criteria, with the preferred school district etc. and within the next weekend, we were already seriously looking hard. We made what I thought was a good offer on another place I liked, but were turned down, without even any counter offer negotiations as we expected. I was disappointed, but he really encouraged me to keep looking again. He was really patient with me too and helped me understand what at times looked like a complex web for a newbie. A few weeks later, another place came up on the original area I contacted him about via Zillow. By the time we looked at the place, we found so many business cards there, which apparently indicated the competition. We could also tell from the Zillow saves and likes that this was a seller's market. He quickly did a Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) and advised me on the best offer to give. This time the seller was able to listen to counter offers and Bill's negotiation skills and my aggressive approach sealed the deal.As if that wasn't enough, he gave me contacts of potential real estate attorney's to use if I was interested without pushing me to use any of their services. Because of the trust and rapport we had, I thought why not go with one of them, who also ended up being a very nice gentleman. Now, I know who to go with in the area if I am interested in RE deals again or if a close family and friend asked for recommendations.
