1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Start saving for a down payment early, Explore your down payment and mortgage options. Find a great lender and get preapproved. 2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
You want a full-time, high-quality real estate professional who sells a large number of homes in your area each year. If your agent doesn’t measure up, find one who does right away. 3) What types of clients have you worked with?
First time home buyers, Baby boomers, Upsizers, Downsizers, Retirees, Elderly, Investors, Commercial property owners, Divorcee, Probate, Pre Foreclosures, Out of state owners, Job transfers.
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
I recently helped a family sell a house in a location they wanted to move out of. They bought the house only 6 months prior and due to a change in their circumstances, they found themselves needing to move. I was able to help them stage and market their house in such a way, it generated 3 offers the first week. We ended up biding up the price and settled substantially above the original asking price. The really great thing was this family thought they would not be able to buy another house however since we got over asking on the sale, I was able to find them a great mortgage lender and a great house that they qualified for and they are thrilled with it!
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
Both my parents where Realtors so I have been around it all my life. I remember going to my dad's office when I was a kid and looking through the old MLS book, It was in a printed version back then and was the size of a phone book.
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
I am a big believer in continuing education. I spend several hours weekly reading, going to classes and attending training on real estate, I have several certifications, and I am licensed in 2 states.
