This is how I found Wes: Last Spring, I asked a friend who is really good at internet research to do a search for the best realtors in the Glen Allen/Short Pump, VA area. He found me three names, and had a star by Wess name saying, aEURoecall him first.aEUR? I was looking for a realtor that could not only sell my moms house, but also understand our particular situation. Just in case, I did my own research on those top three names and agreed that I should call Wes first. The research paid off because when I called Wes, I could tell right away that he could work well with my personality and have the patience and understanding that my real estate situation required. And now my story: I was helping my mom sell her home in Glen Allen, VA when both she and I now live in Maryland. That meant that I had to drive us through I-95 traffic several times back-and-forth from Baltimore, Maryland to the house over the summer to pull this off. Wes was able to accommodate all of our travel plans and meet us there whenever we needed. He also volunteered to be there at the house when we couldnt meet a vendor or to check on anything. It was a huge relief knowing he was there when I couldnt be. We also had a lot of problems with the house and needed to sell it aEURoeas is.aEUR? We also needed a lot of different types of help to make this happen, especially because I was predominantly managing this remotely from Maryland. Ive found that only the aEURoebest of the bestaEUR? work with Wes. I even retained an accountant that he recommended to do my moms 2024 taxes, which will, of course, include the house sale. The accountant has already helped us plan how much taxes to set aside from the house proceeds. Ill close with this one last especially important thing that helped me work well with Wes: Wes did not pass me off to other realtors at his firm. He remained my primary realtor/point of contact the entire time. This was particularly important to me because I didnt have time for a lot of cooks in the kitchen, so to speak. I needed to be sure that I could always get to Wes directly, and I always did. Hire Wes, you wont regret it!

I dont even know where to begin this review, because Wes has been absolutely phenomenal throughout the process of us selling our home! The first meeting in person went well past the allotted time and at no point did Wes seemed rushed to finish the meeting. He answered every question we had and tookextra time to explain the selling process to us so that we felt completely comfortable with everything. Wes was amazing to work with, especially for a single, first-time home buyer. He was critical to helping craft a compelling offer and securing a rapid closing. There is not enough space for me to write how awesome Wes Fertig was in the search of our forever home. He is not only professional but he was also always available, caring, very helpful, and listened to what we wanted. This was my second time buying a house and my husbands first time buying a house. Wes was very helpful in explaining things to my husband in such a way he could understand. My first time buy a house I could tell that my realtor was all about the money. With Wes he was more concerned about what we wanted or didnt want in a home. When I asked him questions, and I asked a lot, he would answer me honestly and in a timely manner. He helped us see when he knew a home wasnt right for us. Wes was very patient and not pushy. When we found our home and we wanted to do some remodeling, he helped by giving me names, numbers, and even lined the contractors to come by on the inspection day to give me quotes of the work to be done. When I couldnt reach a contractor, Wes would call the contractor and the contractor would then return my call. All of this After the deal was done. So if you are looking for an outstanding realtor who isnt just a realtor but felt more like a friend, then definitely call Wes Fertig. He will be our forever realtor!
