1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
It's a good time to buy because market forces are putting pressure on sellers. If homes are sitting on the market for longer, sellers will be nervous and eager to get their home sold.
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
In a seller’s market, when inventory is low and buyers have fewer choices, you can typically price your home higher. But in a buyer’s market, when inventory is high and buyers have more power, you’ll want to price your home more competitively. This is especially important to limit the number of days your house spends on the market — houses that have been sitting for sale for a while can turn off buyers, who may suspect the home is either overpriced or in need of significant work.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
I have worked with both residential buyers and sellers and am comfortable and experienced in working with each type.
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
I recently helped a young lady who I met when she was only two years old. Her family moved from Ohio to central Florida into the same neighborhood that my family had chosen when we relocated from Michigan in 1996. Helping her to purchase her first home was so satisfying and I was proud to have watched her grow into a beautiful, successful first time homeowner.
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
As a former banker, I realized that my potential to reach my professional goals was limited in the banking industry. I chose this career because I love helping people realize the dream of homeownership and I love the unlimited earning potential that is directly related to the amount of work I put into it.
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
I have held positions in retail clothing stores, Estee Lauder cosmetics, private Country Club golf shops, as an elementary school librarian and Assistant Branch Manager in banking. I am a people person and I love EVERYTHING about being a REALTOR®!
