He helped me walk through the process of selecting a property, helping me to ask the right questions so I could understand what my additional costs would be. In my case I was buying a vacant lot to build a house on. He provided and facilitated connections with professionals, and advised which public departments (and where) would be able to give me other information. Regularly, often daily (as needed) he would call just to keep me updated and to ensure I knew what came next, helping me through the process each step of the way. At two stages he provided guidance in negotiations and of course acted as intermediary, and I was satisfied whith the results both times. We were referred to Kory through Veterans United. After a short conversation gathering our wants and needs, he went to work. A few days later, he called on a property that just came on the market. It was listed well below its true value and it was exactly what we wanted. He advised us of the average cost per square foot and his thoughts as to proper offer if we really wanted this property. We did put an offer on the property but below his advised price. We did not have our offer accepted and it closed almost to the dollar he suggested. He knows the area extremely well and has his pulse on the market.. Moving on we set up seven different houses to look at a couple of weeks later. It just so happened to be a day of crazy rain and flooding. We made it to all of the houses that day. There wasnt a single question about whether or not we should continue. Ive bought and sold homes before and I dont think we would have gotten the same dedication from previous realtors. We made one offer on one of the seven houses we saw that day and it was accepted. We were using a VA loan and he was very knowledgeable of some of the minor differences. He had a water sample of our well scheduled the very next day, knowing that it would take a bit longer.
