Unprofessional and disrespectful. My husband and I had an initial first time homebuyer's meeting scheduled with Valerie at 2:30 in East Greenwich (we are first time home buyers looking for an agent to help us with the process). We showed up. She did not. I messaged her while we waited outside her office, nothing. About 30 minutes later she messaged back saying she had to reschedule. Said she sent an email that morning. I didn't get an email that morning, rather 6:09 pm (our appointment was at 2:30pm). No message, no call,no text message. There are some you agents that are grateful for clients, clearly this one doesn't care at all. Imagine if this is a practice that would continue throughout home buying process. That would be awful!!!! I recommend you choose someone else. Someone with integrity, professional, honest and respectful.

Where to start? Val was fantastic. I reached out because I was sick of living in an apartment, paying way too much money and having nothing to show for it. I was clueless what to do and didnt even know if my wife and I would be able to buy a house. Val helped us figure out that we could afford it. We then started to look at houses and for a period of time while we were under quarantine, did virtual tours. When we were looking to buy a house, the houses were closing in days with multiple offers. With each house we looked at and got out bid on, Val paid attention to what we liked about each to help us find our perfect home. After a short time we found that home. A home that we could house our 4 animals and have room to start a family while having space for our hobbies. She was there for us every step of the way.

My husband and I can't speak highly enough of our experience with Valerie Knight of Compass Rose Realty in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. The last time we dealt with a real estate agent was over 35 years ago and this was the first time we sold a house. We had so many questions. Valerie promptly answered each question, no matter what time of the day or night we called, emailed or texted.The property we sold was an average house built in 1950. Although it didnt have a fancy kitchen or new appliances, it has a nice floor plan, great potential and is in a great location of Pawtucket. The house was listed through Valerie on March 3, 2019. She immediately began to show the house through appointments and an open house. On March 16, 2019 (less than 2 weeks on the market) we received an offer for the full asking price. I believe her placement of the ads, her time invested in showings, the timing when the house went up for sale and Valeries expertise in prepping us on what we should do before the house went on the market all played a huge part in selling the home so quickly.We knew Valerie from our daughters, who both went to her when buying/selling their homes. One of my daughters had Valerie going from one part of the state to another for weeks, showing her an endless number of homes until my daughter found the perfect one that met all her needs. She treated my daughter as if she were her only client (which I'm positive she was not).So in my opinion, if you are looking for an honest, hard-working real estate agent that goes above-and-beyond to help you sell (or buy) your home while giving her clients the utmost personal attention, I cant think of anyone else who could do more than Valerie did for all of us.
