ZillowVERIFIEDFrom my first phone call with Troy in May 2021 through the purchase of our home in May 2022, he was nothing but the consummate professional. Prompt: he was on site before us for every meeting, often guiding us to the correct location or parking spot. Patient: as we were from out of state with some personal constraints to moving, Troy understood that it might take up to a few years for us to actually purchase something, and was willing to stick with us for the long haul. Responsive: he returned our texts or calls usually within minutes, at all hours of the day and week (even from hockey games), and quickly set up video walkthroughs of potential properties. Experienced: not only does Troy have years of experience in real estate, he has long family ties with building renovation and construction; this enabled him to critically evaluate every property for flaws and needed upgrades, as well as unique features. Honest: Troy knew what exactly we wanted in a property and gave us his honest opinion of the pros and cons of each one we seriously considered; over the year he rightly directed us away from some and brought others to our attention that we missed. Knowledgeable: he informed us of many local developments that might affect our decision (regarding property values, water views, construction noise/traffic, etc.), as well as of great local eateries, parks, and sights. Unflappable: he was the voice of calm when negotiations were tense and had a backup plan for every outcome. Over-the top service: Troy went way beyond the norm in helping us get settled in, recommending a title company, locksmiths, and housecleaners, and delivering Amazon packages directly to our new place when we were not there to receive them ourselves. In a place like Portland where everyone seems to know everyone else, we feel very lucky to consider Troy our first friend and neighbor there.

ZillowVERIFIEDi may sound like a broken record because I have hired troy three times now to buy homes in the area. I would not consider anyone else. Troy is thorough, honest, and has a lot of knowledge and open mindedness with each property he lists. He has a keen sense to envision you in the home and takes the time to get to know you and deeply thinks and considers all aspects and challenges a home brings so that proper feedback can be given. He is also very calm and patient, which are key attributes when handling excited people looking at multiple homes. I will use Troy again and again to buy homes. Luckily I found one that our family loves long-term so I will be set for a while ! I will recommend him to anyone searching for a buying ( or selling) broker.
