1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Make sure you have a Pre-Approval in place prior to searching for properties. Buyers need to understand what they can afford before falling in love with a property outside their budget.
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Take an honest look at the property as if they were the perspective Buyer. Depersonalize, Declutter and Clean. Be mindful of the market conditions that will determine realistic prices.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
Buyers and Sellers across the spectrum. Luxury properties, Investment properties, 2nd Homes, 1st Time Homes.
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
I was working with a couple purchasing an investment property. We found a beautiful home that was perfect for short term rentals. In addition to working with them on the purchase, they hired me to do all of the interior design work and furnish the home for them. I'm pleased that they have received a lot of positive feedback on the finished property and have been successful with their rentals. These clients were always pleasant to work with throughout the entire process.
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
I was working as an Operations Manager for a manufacturer. The company was sold and I decided at that time that I wanted to go into real estate rather than stay on with the same company and relocate.
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
Besides many years of being in business, where I was working with a lot of people and personalities, I have an extensive design background which has come in very handy with both Buyers and Sellers. I can help them envision what a property could be and also stage a property to make it look it's best for resale.
