About Tristan Swanson

I am a life long Maine native and love this area completely. My wife and I live in York with our two children and are active members of the community. My first job was working in the local hardware store, I then did landscaping for my mother as a young man, I was a painting contractor for many years and ran my own painting and carpentry business for 9 years. My past work and experience give me a unique advantage when working with my real estate clients to help guide them through all the aspects of their real estate transactions from the contract, inspection, negotiations, repairs, and through to the closing table. I have built a great network of professionals over the years to assist with all aspects of real estate and we are honored to facilitate just about anything that needs to be done to get the deal to the closing table. "I have a guy for that!" I value the time with my family and friends at the highest level. I enjoy all types of outdoor activities from gardening and mowing the lawn to mountain biking, skiing, flyfishing, and surfing. I am fortunate to have people in my life who enjoy all the same things. I am pleased to say that many of my clients also become close to me and we stay in touch and enjoy outings and conversations regularly. Honesty and straightforwardness are paramount to me as well. If you are looking for a bit of a different way of doing business while still being offered all the expected services I am honored to help.

We developed 22 acres of land that had never been touched , other than stone walls and clearing trees in the old days. We also had a significant vernal pool on the property. Tristan new the market and helped us navigate the process over eighteen months. Tristan has been a steady influence through the ups and downs of creating lots for family and public. I highly recommend Tristan and Isaiah Plante (Surveyor) for the development of land or sale of a property. I will use Tristan again in the future to market and sell property. Tristan developed a partnership with a local builder to develop the lots and resulted in quicker sale of lots. Tristan also has a great support group with Tammy and others.

Tristan was awesome. He happened to be the "next guy up" when we walked into the office unannounced. He dropped everything, made us feel welcome, and listened hard to figure out what we wanted in a house. He followed up quickly whenever we needed him, made appointments quickly when we wanted to see something and negotiated skillfully when we finally found a house that we wanted. He also was very helpful when we asked questions about construction and renovation and he was quick to offer local contacts regarding heat, carpentry, etc., practically any issue we inquired about, he had a local contact to help us. The closing went off without a hitch. Overall, we were very impressed and pleased with Tristan and the agency support staff.
