Trevor Volpe

Born in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. I am a lifelong resident of the Hudson Valley. I grew up heavily exposed to the arts, culture, cuisine and the natural riches of my home region. Primary education was mostly in local private schools, but I graduated from Wallkill Senior High school in 2009. I left the area to attend college in New York City when I was 17, and there I found my passion for hospitality. Working in fine dining restaurants in lower Manhattan, I worked my way up the ladder. I eventually worked for a Master Sommelier at a well known mainstay wine bar in the Union Square area, before moving on to work at Michelin Starred Chef Jean-George's Mercer Kitchen, Inn at Pound Ridge, Le Dock, and Jean-Georges Restaurant on Central Park West. These years in hospitality were formative in my acquisition of people skills, problem solving, time management and patience for the myriad of customer quirks in the world. I traveled the world, working in notable vineyards and wineries to learn more about the sacrifice which goes into crafting each vintage around the world. I studied and learned professional wine tasting, and worked in laboratories to obtain a chemistry degree while aspiring towards a degree in Oenology and Viticulture. COVID-19 brought not only the restaurant business, but the wine industry to a screaming halt--and I found myself pushed into the world of real estate, where it all really began. I like to believe that serving my guests throughout the years has shown me the importance of simple pleasantries in a rapidly changing world. I feel strongly that my emotional intelligence and ability to read the room have gotten me farther than any skill or accolade, and that my hospitality for my clients drives me harder than anything to produce results for my clients.
