My name is Tracie Fleetwood and I have been a Realtor for 4, almost 5 years and during that time I have sold almost $5 Million worth of sales. I have helped first time home buyers all the way to seasoned investors throughout my career. I have been married to the same wonderful husband for 40 years. I have 3 grown children and 7 grandchildren. I have the patience and tenacity to not give up when obstacles stand in the way. I have worked when it was a buyers' market when it is a sellers' market. I have experienced all kinds of situations and am always looking to learn more. I have closed sales during the pandemic. I am ready and will to tackle whatever situation stands in front of me. 1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Be sure you are pre-qualified by a Lender! Homes don't stay on the market very long and you have to be pre-qualified so you can act quickly on that perfect home.
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Make your home as clean and clutter free as possible. You know what they say about "first impressions". This includes curb appeal as well as the inside of the home.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
I have worked with first-time home buyers to the seasoned investors and all the between. Each transaction is unique in and of itself.
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
I was working with a client just as COVID hit. We had her house on the market and she found the perfect townhome to downsize to. We lost not 1, but 2 contracts (buyers) because they just got cold feet because of COVID which looked like she was going to lose the contract on the townhome she wanted to buy, but thanks to great negotiating skills, she kept the contract on the townhome and the third buyer was the charm! She was so very happy to get out of a home that was too large and cost more to move in to a townhome that was just practically across the street from where she worked!! It was a win - win for everyone!!
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
I was a medical transcriptionist for 30+ years and with technology and voice recognition, I found myself out of a career and decided to go into real estate and never looked back!
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
I have a certification in Real Estate Negotiation. I have found this helpful in not only real estate, but other aspects of my life as well.
