In the current market conditions, the best advice I could give a home buyer is to be patient, be open minded, and flexible while keeping your overall goals in mind. In a competitive buyers market these three things can be a virtue for you!

Currently sellers have the market in most areas. However, pricing your home properly is more important than ever. Price too high, and you risk pushing buyers away and sitting on the market with potential price adjustments. However, price reasonably in comparison to other homes that have sold or are on the market in your neighborhood and reap the benefits of multiple offers, more control over terms, and ultimately a higher sale price.

I’ve worked with first time home buyers, second home buyers, multi family investors, house flippers, people that need to sell in order to buy, relocation buyers, low credit buyers, cash buyers, retirees, non-U.S. residents moving to the U.S., new construction buyers, builders, general upsizing and down sizing home sellers, foreclosures, short sales, off market acquisitions, and buyers who want to build equity through renovations.

I had been contacted by a nice couple that lived in London for work at the time. They had found my business on a Google search for Maine Real Estate Agents. They were interviewing multiple agents on their first day of arriving in Maine, as I had recommended. That same day they had called with the good news that they wanted to move forward as clients of mine. They had planned a 2-week stay here in Maine and were eager to have a new home under contract prior to leaving the state. I planned over 15 showings on houses that matched with what they were looking for. I wanted to show them around the towns, neighborhoods, and popular areas around each home so I invited them to drive with me so I could provide them with that experience. By the end of their stay in Maine we had previewed all of the pre-scheduled homes and more. I reached out to all of my contacts that I knew work with clients of homes they were interested in, and successfully found an off-market home that checked all of their boxes and then some. We had successfully secured a contract on the home just days after they had left the state, under their anticipated budget, in an area that they absolutely loved, and the home is turnkey. I did a virtual tour with them (because they had to fly out the day before we were allowed access by the homeowner), a virtual home inspection, and scheduled future estimates with contractors which I'll be managing for them as well. We successfully closed on their new home through a remote closing service! They couldn't have been happier with my service and my continued service that I'm providing until they arrive permanently here in Maine. I'm extremely happy to have been able to work with them, gain new friends, and exceed their expectations!

Real Estate has been a part of my life since I was a young boy. My father, an immigrant from Vietnam, had bought foreclosure properties to repair and hold as rentals before he decided it was time to sell them. His teachings at such a young age was just the start. In 2013 I had decided to buy my first duplex property where my wife, who has been in the mortgage industry since 2010, and I lived in one unit while renting the other to offset our expense. From there, we had held that property and repeated the process. We bought and sold multiple homes until 2018 when I had truly realized a gap in service from the agents that I had been working with. I knew I could fill that gap and decided to obtain my Real Estate License to help other investors and those looking to own a piece of the American Dream. Since, I had flipped multiple homes throughout Southern Maine and purchased more multifamily properties. I've helped over 60 clients buy/sell/and start and grow their investment portfolios. I think my biggest advantage while working with my clients is that I've been in their shoes and I know what they can/will experience so I do whatever is in my control to mitigate those challenging experiences to provide them with the best service a Real Estate Agent can provide!

I have a degree in Business Financing which allows me to run through basic figures with my clients so they have an idea of what their expenses could be. My background as a multiple Branch Manager at Enterprise Rent-a-Car, where customer service is highly valued, helps me provide that same level of service to my clients. I attend multiple Real Estate Conferences around the U.S. for investing and business where I learn new and true strategies to help my clients, and I have a background in renovating homes which allows me to assist my clients with securing any tradesman they desire. I don't refer a contractor unless I've used them myself!
