I rented a property from Tiffany. Three months prior to my 12 month lease being up my kitchen ceiling collapsed. It never got fixed so I moved out and did not renew my lease. They never came and met me when I moved out to get the keys and go over the apartment. I paid to have the apartment cleaned and left the keys in the window sill. To cover my end I had another tenant in the building clean the apartment so I had a witness in the event that they did not show. Its been three months and she has done her best to avoid me and keep my deposit. Still today I have no reason why my deposit was not returned and have been ignored. I moved out of state or I would have taken it to small claims court using the other tenant as a witness along with pictures that the unit was left in better condition than when I moved in excluding the water damaged collapsed ceiling which was from a leak in the unit above mine. Buying a house from her may be fine but I definitely would not rent from her. Bad experience all around.
