2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
If you're selling your home, the key is to make it stand out! Make sure your home is in top-notch condition. Clean, declutter, and consider making any necessary repairs or updates to attract buyers. PRICE IT RIGHT! Do your research and set a competitive price based on the market and comparable sales in your area. A well-priced home will attract more potential buyers. When it comes to marketing, go all out! Use high-quality photos and videos to showcase your home online and consider staging to help buyers envision themselves living there. Be flexible and open to negotiations. Work with your real estate agent to respond to offers and consider any reasonable requests from buyers. With the right strategy and presentation, you'll be on your way to a successful sale!
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
I've had the pleasure of working with a diverse range of clients, from first-time homebuyers excited to step into homeownership to seasoned investors looking to expand their portfolio. I've also worked with clients looking to downsize, relocate, or find their dream home. Each client brings a unique set of needs and preferences, and I pride myself on providing personalized service to help them achieve their real estate goals.
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
A sweet couple I met many moons ago had transferred to Florida several years back. Last spring, I get a call from them and her job was transferring them back to Texas! We met up one weekend they were in town and took the whole afternoon looking for their perfect new place to call home. We got under contract quickly and the selling agent and her clients were the best. It was a Win-Win for all. Now, I am closer to my friends and they are in love with their new home.
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
I got started in Real Estate in 2001. I helped build one of the top Mult- Family Property Management Agencies in the US. I did property management for 16 years and when my boss decided to retire, I decided to "retire" as well and move over to residential real estate since I knew I wanted to stay in the field. I love people and real estate so it was a very easy transition, plus I get to go out on the field and meet new connections and see all kinds of homes. Truly a dream come true!
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
I am constantly attending courses, classes and attending seminars. I just completed my CREN, or Certified Real Estate Negotiator Course and my CLP, or Certified Listing Professional. This is an ever-moving business and is always changing so always looking to learn more so I can in turn educate myself and my clients.
