When the decision was made to put my lake front log home in the North Woods up for sale, a retired realtor recommended that I focus on the larger realty outfits, as they have more resources and the ability to reach the larger markets which smaller/local realtors do not have.Taking this good advice, I researched realtors in the Green Bay / Fox Valley region for the best of the best and came up with a list of three or four names. I contacted each of them and had very honest conversations about what I was wanting to do and what was needed to get started with the whole process. Terri Hoffort stood out amongst them all. Terri was very easy going, but extremely professional and knowledgeable about the luxury markets in my area. Prior to agreeing to list with Terri, she offered to do some research and come up with a game plan. Terri was very patient with me as I needed some time to make the transition of putting my home on the market. When that time came, she immediately went to work to help my wife and me get the home ready for sale.After her initial visit, Terri came back with her photographer and a carload of aEURoestagingaEUR? items for the home. She and my wife decorated and rearranged for the photo shoot. My home looked unbelievably beautiful and the photos for the web site and virtual tour were incredible. Terri also had my home listed in a very high-end luxury vacation home magazine which was distributed in the Chicago, Milwaukee, Fox Valley and Madison markets. We received a showing within a couple hours of the house being listed and several more showings in the first and second weeks. Then COVID 19 hit. Terri immediately set the home up with all the safeguards recommended and some guidelines for visitors. After the COVID situation started to calm down, showings started up again with quite a bit of interest. There were several questions and details that Terri had to research for potential buyers. She did the lions share of this work and always kept me informed and consulted me of what was going on and what was needed. Once an offer was accepted, Terri did a fantastic job of walking me through the closing process and made sure I understood all the paperwork. She kept everything simplified and in laymans terms.I have bought and sold several homes over my life and can honestly tell you that Terri was the most helpful, professional and hardest working realtor I have ever worked with.
