I worked with Taskeen for my home purchase. I was a first time home buyer and the entire process was new to me. Taskeen was very patient and understanding throughout the process.Taskeen is very responsive. I have messaged her and talked to her on weekends and late evenings. She always responded in a timely manner. This was very important to me given the pace at which the market moves in the bay area. She was always available to show an unit outside open house hours.Taskeen has an eye for detail. During our visits to see houses, she would notice even the minutest details. These details could be something major or something that is good to know. For example, in one unit she even noticed that the shower rod is slightly tilted, pointed it out to me and said that someone might have accidently broken it or applied too much pressure on it at some point. As an example of a more major issue, we once saw an unit where there was an issue with the kitchen. Taskeen looked at the condition in detail and explained to me why the cost to fix it would be quite high, not to mention the amount of time it would take to fix the issues.Taskeen is a skilled negotiator and moved very fast to close when I saw the unit which I definitely wanted. This was important to me, because the rates at the time of my purchase were increasing regularly. I did not want to make an offer assuming a certain rate, only to find out that the rate has increased at the time of closing, resulting in a higher than anticipated monthly mortgage payment. I first saw the unit (which I bought) on Saturday. We went through the disclosures on Sunday morning, when they were first available, I saw the unit again on Sunday afternoon, to make sure that I definitely wanted it. Sunday evening, we had a call where I conveyed that this is the unit that I want. She immediately contacted the listing agent and we finalized on the prize on Sunday evening itself. Monday morning I confirmed the mortgage rates with my loan officer, who said that the rates can increase in the coming days. I conveyed to Taskeen that I would like to close before the rates increase. She moved very quickly and we closed in a few hours itself, which allowed me to lock the rates before they went up.Last but not the least, Taskeen is fun to work with, which make the whole home buying process much more pleasant.

Tas felt more like a caring family member, rather than just a Realtor. Took the time to explain the home buying process. Responsive whenever I had questions. Proactively searched to find homes that fit my criteria with CMAs so that I could make an informed decision quickly. That included recommending nice areas to search.She has home building experience and that was so invaluable! She was able to identify issues with homes we saw and inform me of remedies or whether they were showstoppers. Most importantly, her aim was *not* to maximize her profit. For my house, she negotiated down the purchase price and made sure that all the other players in the pipeline (Lenders, etc.) were moving on-time and in-line.Prior to Tas, I met a Realtor who flat out told me its in my best interest to buy a Million $ property because I would benefit in the long run from appreciation. Another Realtor I was working with simply did very little for me (and it was a 2 person team). Not even offer an honest opinion on properties we saw. Didnt even care about neighborhoods they brought me to. When Zillow paired me with Tas (which I didnt ask for), I thought she was the Seller or a Listing Agent, so I was hesitant to even talk to her. I just wanted to see the house that dayaEUR|.I thank God that I decided to be open and work with her! I have a house now.
