We got our condo for UNDER ASKING when places were going for tens of thousands above! Now that Ive got your attention, I want to talk about how wonderful it was working with Alexis both to buy and sell. As you are probably doing right now, we were sitting on the couch over Christmas break dreaming of new homes and scrolling through Zillow. We found what looked to be our dream place, and said to ourselves, theres no way this will happen, but lets at least ask. A mutual friend of ours had introduced us to Alexis, and we knew she was a realtor, so we reached out to her on December 23rd. She responded in minutes (talk about service), and we were touring this amazing condo on New Years Day. She connected us with a fantastic lender, one that she and her broker had been working with for more than 20 years, and we crafted an offer together, with her offering expertise and advice all along the way. I never felt pressured or out of control--she always made sure to verify with us before doing anything official. Negotiation with the seller went quickly, and throughout we felt like we were in a much better bargaining position BECAUSE of Alexis. She knew the market, knew that the pandemic was depressing prices downtown, and used that to our advantage to close for under asking. She was always respectful in the interactions we overheard with the sellers agent, but she was a pleasure to watch negotiate. Her responsiveness continued throughout and after the transaction, and she was always quick to respond. Because of how excellent our experience was buying, we also decided to sell our former condo with Alexis. She helped us find contractors to get the place ready, worked with a great photographer to make our place look its best, and she talked us through a listing strategy in-depth (seriously, I like to think about all options, and she patiently listened, offering advice that helped us feel comfortable with our ultimate list price). Because of her advice and guidance, we were able to sell our place for above asking! I wont use any realtor but Alexis in the Denver Metro!
