About Sydney Icardo

Sydney Nicole Icardo is an enthusiastic young woman with a quick sense of humor. Living in sunny Sandpoint, Idaho is her home away from Alaska, where she was born and raised. "I feel extremely lucky to have my senses nurtured in Alaska." Sydney was raised in an outdoor life. Fishing, hiking, skiing, climbing, and boating are among the many activities she loves. While Alaska was truly epic, Sydney dreamed of a place where she could walk or ride her bike to the warm white sandy beach, drive to the" trophy trout hole" within thirty minutes, watch the colors of the full four seasons change, twenty minute or less drive to local ski resort that has at least 2500 vertical feet, and a diverse group of locals that like to play as hard as they work. Sydney knew that these expectations were a bit unrealistic, but she was on a mission. She drove across country, uphill both ways, until she came across the long bridge leading into the heart of Sandpoint, Idaho. After a few months of exploration, and earning the trust of the local natives, Sydney became part of the community. She has since found CENTURY 21 RiverStone, and established herself as an upstanding Real Estate Professional since 2000. Sydney is a dedicated advocate for her clients, and will stop at nothing to connect the right person to their dreams. Sydney's hearty attitude molded by years of Alaskan weather has made her an all-around woman, able to talk to a prince or a pauper. Sydney was awesome to work with. My husband and I were relocating from across country. Sydney took a weekend to drive us ALL OVER the Sandpoint area as we looked for our future home in a time crunch. She was so friendly and knowledgeable. We were able to find the perfect home and have our offer accepted all in the same weekend. Since purchasing, Sydney has still been there to answer any of our followup questions.

When I was looking for unimproved land to purchase, I called dozens of real estate offices in Washington and Idaho. I needed the assessor's parcel numbers for various listings, so that I could look up the various lots on the respective county GIS maps. Every other agent I spoke with gave me the parcel number for their listing and hung up. Sydney, on the other hand, helped me with every parcel number on my list, even though a majority of the listings were not with her office. That was why I chose to use her as my agent. Similarly, a lot of real estate agents do not want to even bother with unimproved land purchases, due to the lower compensation, but Sydney graciously went above and beyond to facilitate my transaction while I was out of state during escrow.

We are from out of country so we had limited knowledge of the process of purchasing real estate in the US. Sydney did an excellent job of working with us and helping us understand this but most importantly when I called with a question, or simply wanted to discuss things she either answered the phone or got back to me in a very timely manner no matter the time of day, weekends included. She also had a network of professionals to assist with things such as the inspection, title company, services, ect. My experience with Syd was nothing but positive.
