ZillowVERIFIEDSusan Gibson was our Buyer Agent, and we were very pleased with the work that she did. When we first met her, we had contacted her to show us a house that she had listed. Susan quickly picked up on the fact that I was not interested in that house, and asked numerous questions to help clarify our likes and dislikes. She later sent us a list of possible houses based on what she had learned from us.Throughout the process, Susan was very attentive, responsive, and looked out for our best interests. She met with us after hours in her office and even as she was heading out of town for a brief vacation. She made it easy for us to conduct business through email and texting in order to save us from numerous trips to her office. Susan was able to show us our current house on less than 12 hours notice as we were headed out of town. She maintained contact with us while we were on vacation and trying to negotiate details with the seller. We found Susan to be professional and committed to helping us successfully manage the process. She is personable, conscientious, and a great advocate. We always felt she was on our side from start to finish.

ZillowVERIFIEDI choose Susan as my buying agent because of the strong reviews she received on this site. While I don't like leaving a negative review, I don't want someone else to end up in the same situation I was in. Susan neglected to deliver two key contracts to my closing attorney: the home warranty and numerous repairs the seller had contractually agreed to during our negotiations. Since my closing attorney didn't have these documents, he didn't have the seller put the necessary money into escrow. This was only discovered after the closing, and I ended up having to pay my attorney several hundred dollars to represent me to the seller to obtain the home warranty after the closing. Ultimately I had to abandon getting some of the repairs done because it was too expensive to hold the seller accountable to what he had contractually agreed to do. It was a stressful and expensive mess that could have easily been avoided if Susan had done her due diligence. In addition, I don't know if it was an issue of personal conflict or if it is typical for the selling agent and buying agent to quibble over their responsibilities, but I found the month leading up to the closing to be a regular merry-go-round of finger pointing and exasperation as Susan explained how the setbacks were the selling agent's fault while my attorney would indicate that Susan should have been the one seeing them through. The agents couldn't even cooperate enough to get the house keys to the closing.As my buying agent, I had expected Susan to look out for my interests and make the process of buying a home less stressful; that was decidedly not the case.

ZillowVERIFIEDI found Susan through her website and was impressed with how aggressively and thoroughly she seemed to display her clients homes. I knew she was the realtor for my husband and me. She was dedicated to us and made us feel as though we were her only clients, even though she had many others to take care of. Susan didn't hesitate to answer our questions, which were sometimes quite numerous! She was patient and kind when I became nervous and overwhelmed. Susan sold our home and helped us find our dream home all in a couple of months! There came a point just before closing on the house we were purchasing that the sellers were dragging there feet on moving out by the deadline. Susan came through for us! She was able to talk to our lawyer, have papers drawn up charging the sellers a fee for every day they were late, and spoke with their agent to remind them (forcefully) of the legally binding contract they had signed with us to be out of the house! Susan was amazing! Needless to say, the sellers were then motivated to get their belongings and move on.If you are looking for an agent who is kind and respectful of your needs, but smart and aggressive when it comes to this market and what it takes to sell your house...I strongly encourage you to go with Susan Gibson, I also recommend that you allow her to give you advice and that you soak up every word. She knows what she's talking about. Trust her, do what she says, and she will sell your house!
