We came to know Steven Mainard from one of our colleague from work. The day I texted, he immediately called and spoke extensively in detail and what he can bring to the table to buy a house. His is very patient, a good listener, respectful, cordial, very skillful and knowledgeable in the business, and a down to earth person. He understands the needs and budget, and worked towards that to find a great home in College Station. He is a local person and knows most of the builders and their quality of construction. He is a good negotiator and brokered a awesome deal with the builder. He introduced us to very good lenders that offered us good interest rates and it was easy to work with those lenders. Before signing the contract, he went through DocuSign, the every nitty gritties of the contract, and made sure every verbal point is on the paper, what we brokered a deal with the builder. Once we signed contract, every week (for 12 weeks) without fail, he accompanied us to look into the details of construction, faults identified during the construction were notified to the builder and asked to fix. He did a awesome job during this process. It is not only that, he being a homeowner, use to provide details, details on how to maintain house and lawn, watering lawn and foundation during summer, measurements for washer and dryer and ordering those, maintenance of A/C etc.. Those little details tells about how he cares his clients. After we finalized the lender, he went through a lot of paperwork while talking to lender, title company, HOA office and only after he gave a green signal to sign the final lender docs, we signed. He made sure all the lender fees, interest rates, miscellaneous fees that are accessed are accurate. He made all the steps easy at every stage. During home orientation, final walk, and closing stage he accompanied, pointed to builders that things needs to be fixed, addressed our concerns and questions and let the builders know that things needs attention or to be fixed. He built a relationship with us which goes beyond the purchasing of the house. Overall we are highly satisfied and happy.
