1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Purchasing a home can be a stressful experience. Making sure you work with an experienced team and someone who will help educate you along the process will make you feel more prepared.
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Prepping your home is key. You want your home to show well and provide you the opportunity to accept the highest fair market value. Have your trusted Realtor walk through the property with you and discuss if there are any minor updates that could help your home increase in value.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
I love working with both, Buyers and Sellers for different reasons. I was a listing manager for years. Working with Sellers to strategically update areas of their home is very gratifying. Whether its by minimizing time on the market or making those adjustments to maximize sale price, I love helping Sellers exceed their goals! Working with Buyers brings joy to my day. Helping families, individuals, and investors locate the best property for them and successfully securing the home in a busy market is a very exciting and rewarding experience.
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
I love when the agents on both side of the transaction work together and communicate efficently. Working together to navigate any hurtles that come up through the transaction is the best way to keep stress down and keep the transaction running smoothly.
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
I started my real estate career on the island of Oahu. We had a number of friends moving to the area (military life) and I sat everyone down to discuss using real estate as an investment strategy. I ended up joined a team that was just starting to develop on the island. Together, we grew together and were awarded as one of the top teams in the state.
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
I am a certified Military Relocation Professional and have also gone through the VA Home Loan Process personally, thanks to my husband who is an Army Veteran.
