ZillowVERIFIEDUnder the most ideal conditions moving is a stressful event. Moving 1,000 miles to an unfamiliar area is borderline nervous breakdown territory. However, Dee and I were blessed with the perfect solution, Realtors Starr Keating and Alayna Summanen, from Caldwell Banker Vanguard Realty. Their efforts began a year in advance of our move and continued for weeks beyond our closing. They provided services, some of which hardly expected, and included a MLS listing that featured the types and locations of homes that met our criteria; meeting with us for three days, 8 months before we were moving to allow us to get a lay of the land, agreeing to work with us for multiple days over two visits when we finally initiated our move; and providing professional and greatly appreciated assistance to facilitate our purchase and closing which was handled remotely from our home in Texas. And then the totally unexpected, Starr and Alayna proceeded to assist us following the closing. The sellers had left several roomfuls of furniture, some of which we were considering keeping and the remainder I was going to make a trip to St. Augustine to dispose of. At this point Starr and Alayna volunteered to come to the house video and audio tape the home and allow us to select what we wanted. And you ask what about the furniture we were not interested in? Well, they hired a truck for us to have it removed, saving us another expensive (think gas) trip to Florida. During this time, they also met with the water company to get our water certification approved and provided us numerous lawn care professionals until we found one that had availability. And I will not get into the volumes of data on demographics, retail shopping areas, hospital and medical services that has been extremely welcome to us newcomers.If you asked me to give them a rating from 1 to 10 with 10 being the best, they are a 12. Highly Recommended. Thank you, Starr and Alayna.
