Idan was great to work with in the purchase of our home. Starting in July, he set up a call to go over our must-haves and want-to-haves, linked us to the Compass app to get alerts, and was extremely responsive any time we saw a property we wanted to tour. It was never hard to get a hold of Idan, which is key in this process, and he has an extremely calm and level-headed demeanor, which really helps in what can be a very high-stress process! Idan's prior knowledge as a contractor was extremely valuable, as he was able to give us ideas of how much certain upgrades would cost or help us see homes that needed work through a different lens. Idan was so easy to work with and also just to get along with, which is huge in a process where you're spending so much time with someone. We lost count of how many homes we saw, but after losing 7 offers and finally landing our dream home on the 8th, we were given feedback that part of the reason our offer was accepted was due to how organized and thorough it was, and we have Idan to thank for that! The icing on the cake was the massage gift certificate for this expecting mom at 8 months pregnant when we closed and a gorgeous engraved cheeseboard that we look forward to entertaining with for years to come! If you are in the market for a real estate agent, we highly recommend Monika Khanna from the Compass group. We have looked for a home in and off for a few years and worked with a few agents, but none came close to Monika's level of execution. Every buyer has certain aspirations for what they want in a home and then there is the reality of what's on offer based on your budget. A good agent is one who bridges this gap and genuinely tries to help you not just to make profit. This is where we felt Monika gave honest feedback either on the house condition, future maintenance or renovation costs, location etc. Coming to price, she never pushed us too hard but gave a realistic opinion of what the house might go far based on the market. Even if we wanted to quote for less than her suggested price, she would do the paperwork and submit the deal as sometimes price is a game of luck and lottery and you never know. Our top priority for an agent was someone who is genuine, knows the town well and shows patience and perseverance. Monica displayed all these qualities with utmost satisfaction.
