We were introduced to Shilpa by my sister who has also recently bought a home with Shilpas help. On the day of our first conversation Shilpa sat an extra 2 hours explaining all aspects of a buying contract since my husband and I were very new to the entire process. From that point on she has guided us through every small and big step till the process was complete. She has been very patient, very supportive and has gone above and beyond to get us the house we wanted in the price range that we were okay with. She is a master of negotiation, so good that you literally just have to sit back and trust the process. In a time that people were bidding over asking, she was able to get us our home 50K below asking. If youre a first time buyer like us, look no further. She will not only help you pick the right home and negotiate but also does her own home inspection, assists with scheduling home related tasks (pest, inspection) guides on best lender to pick and also adds suggestions for repairs that the house might need. We do not have experience working with realtors previously (we are first time home buyers) but from everything that we heard from family & friends, Shilpa beats them all. She is an excellent partner to work with to get your dream house. The energy and passion that she brings isphenomenal and her negotiation skills are exceptional. She was always very prompt, on top of every task, extremely responsive and works with you like a family member providing all the input / perspectives but without forcing an opinion. That was something that me and my wife were looking for, to have the space for us to make the decision. It can be very challenging as first-time home buyers especially in the crazy housing market. Shilpa was always alongside to walk and guideus through the process. We can divide our experience with her into three major categories:1) Right neighborhood: We did our research for about six months before reaching out to Shilpa. Our minds were set on a couple of areas based on our criteria: good school district, safe area, bigger lot, etc. Talking to Shilpa, she brought other perspectives that we had not thought about. The input was very insightful and helped us to make better choices. 2) Guidance for bids: Several of the bids for the houses we liked were astronomically high. Shilpa always kept us grounded and did not let us get carried away with the market's bidding wars. At times, we wondered if we could ever find a house. Long behold, she not only found us a house in a much nicer neighborhood but negotiated the price (yes, in this crazy market). We probably saved $300-400k on it. 3) Closing: With the stock market tumbling, banks had changed their pre-requisites and we had to look for alternate lenders. Shilpa took it upon herself to help us find some. She reached out a number of folks in her circle to identify them. She was on top of the whole process making sure that nothing went side ways and that the closing went smoothly. Shilpa was with us every step of the way and definitely went above & beyond in many aspects. As we got closer to the end, she also helped us with getting the fumigation folks ready, connected us with a couple of contractors for repairs amongst many others. She has an attitude of not letting go and will can make things happen irrespective of what challenges may arise. I would recommend her to anyone within a heartbeat.

As first time home buyers we had no clue as how to take on the monumental task of searching for a home and actually succeeding in a very hot market such as the bay area! Shilpa was quite knowledgeable, detail oriented, persistent and also very flexible and adaptable to our schedules and needs. The process was long winded, given a very competitive market and without her guidance it would've been much harder for us to get a realistic sense of the market and what it takes to put in a competitive offer. Her years of experience in bay area real estate helped us get into in the right mindset, ultimately giving us an edge over others. She was also quite helpful in guiding us towards renovations, inspections and other future improvements we're planning to get done. She ultimately got us in on a nice home within our budget which we consider to be a great deal on a nice home!! Would definitely recommend her to prospective buyers in the bay area!
