Sherry is a great realtor and she has represented my husband and I on multiple properties, both on the buyer and the seller side. She has an upbeat and entertaining personality and she is very responsive. She has responded to me after hours and even when she was away out of town. Sherry came highly recommended from my out of town selling agent and I was not disappointed. She accommodated my schedule and need for speed quite well, and found me a large number of options for local housing. Once we found the dream home, she went out of her way working from her vacation to get the contract to the seller's agent. I was in my new home in just over a month from date of contract! Her integrity, organization, warm personality, positive attitude and sense of humor made her very easy to work with and I would recommend her highly to buyers and sellers.
Sherry has a warm and wonderful personality and decades of experience that convinced me to sign a listing contract, even though i had also been warned to not use her. During the contract she never showed the place herself and only arranged for one showing by another agent. There was never an open house or flyers in all of the contract. She told me she was to show it on one occasion but the other person wanted to see the plat of the property. She asked me for the plat but I was unavailable and referred her to the court house for public records which are available there, such as plats.... Later when I asked what happened at the showing she responded that they did not come because I did not give her the plat?? So, basically...she did not go to the court house to get public records and therefore lost a potential buyer and blamed it on me for not supplying her with the public information!! I also noticed and notified Sherry that my horse farm that I searched for as horse farm or farm in our county did not come up as available in searches even though others did come up in same county. She had a dismissive answer for everything but nothing ever changed or improved. At the end of the contract I also had to ask innumerable times to get my keys back and that took several months. Turns out that Sherrys listing pics and add are still on the internet and listed as unavailable yet all the information and add is still there including Sherrys terrible and poor quality iPhone pics and other wrong information. Very recently I have asked Sherry to please remove the adds and please remove the pics as they are causing me problems. I have contacted sites directly and learned that she as listing agent is supposed to do this as the listing agent because she posted it and she has the password. She has not removed the add or pics. Her excuse for ignoring my requests is that she has grandmotherly duties that are keeping her busy and also out of the state. I am so sympathetic to that as a mother who stayed home and unemployed to raise my kids!!...yet I never did enter into a contract for business while I was doing those important things!! All I can say is....BEWARE.
