Shenia Lyford

Realtor I started my real estate carrier in 2016 at 19 years old after a year of college. Within a year of business, I was licensed in both Vermont and New Hampshire as well as managing about 25 rental properties. Now, with 8 years of experience and over 60 closed transactions, you can expect local expertise, honesty and dedication when working with me. In 2018, I joined the Upper Valley Board of REALTORS(R) Board of Directors as the Communications Chair as a way to broaden my network and knowledge of the industry. Through my time on the board, I moved into the President Elect position in 2020 and most recently served as President from 2021-2022. I was awarded Realtor of the Year by the board in 2022, an honor that I cherish. It has been a pleasure to work side-by-side with so many brilliant Realtors at both our community and state levels. I also went back to college and graduated from the Community College of Vermont in 2021 with my Associates in Business, a degree I pursued to compliment my real estate career. As a native to the Upper Valley growing up in Thetford, Vermont, I have always treasured the power of community that comes from these small towns. The way that people go out of their way to help and give back is inspirational and heartwarming. During a time of need there is nowhere else I would rather live. It is my goal as a real estate agent to give back to the people who live here through my knowledge and expertise in housing. For many people, buying a house is the largest investment they will make. The magnitude of the home buying process is part of what draws me to the real estate industry. During what can sometimes be a stressful experience, I keep things upbeat and moving in the right direction. Outside of Real Estate, I like to spend time with my family at our pond and go for Jeep rides with my Fiance and dogs Luna and Oliver. I have participated in Dartmouth Hitchcock's CHaD Hero fundraiser and 5k every year since 2016 and supported our National Guard troops over several deployments.
