In this respect he advised me about improvements to the home which I purchased which would or would not add further value to my home (and then oversaw the work I chose to do while I was still living across the country). Third, Shawn is intelligent, and easily compared the multiple life and economic consequences and trade offs of choosing one home rather than another, or one town or neighborhood rather than another. He helped me to see houses in a three dimensional way and to think more outside the box about both architecture and locale than I have ever done in the purchase of a home. Finally, Shawn is a most courteous person with whom to do business. He was calm, never rushed, never interrupted, and never conveyed that too many or irrelevant questions had been asked. He closed an escrow with a short window for me just after the holidays with equanimity and good cheer, and has kept in touch to confirm that all goes well.
