I am a life-long resident of Grand County, and am always happy to welcome new neighbors to our special community at the headwaters of the Colorado River. My fifty-plus years in Grand County give me a unique perspective on representing both sellers and buyers of Grand Lake real estate. My life in Grand Lake began in 1968, when my dad accepted a permanent ranger position with Rocky Mountain National Park. I had the good pleasure of growing up with Rocky Mountain National Park out my back door and Arapaho National Forest out my front door. I spent my youth backcountry horse packing in the Park and the Forest, and am truly thankful to have spent my childhood in such a magical place. I graduated from Middle Park Senior High School, where I participated on the ski team, and was active in 4-H and amateur horse showing. I attended Colorado State University, and hold a bachelor's of science degree in Animal Science. In 1997, I married my late husband, another long-time resident, and we were fortunate to give our son a happy upbringing on the shores of Sun Valley Lake. My husband owned an operated a Sun Valley Guest Ranch from 1964 until 1988, when we converted the property into a townhouse neighborhood. I am still thrilled to call Sun Valley Ranch my home, and I have the pleasure of regularly viewing elk, deer, moose, and other wildlife from my porch almost every day. I love to share the special joys of living in Grand Lake with friendsaEUR"both tried-and-true and new. I was raised to work hard and honestly, and I strive to make each real estate transaction satisfying for both seller and buyer. I personally invest not in the business of real estate, but in the people I serve through the business of real estate.
