She was supposed to be working for us. She was hired to sell our home in August of 2017. However, by summer of 2018 she had a "friend" who wanted the place and she didn't bother to tell us it was a good "friend" of hers the entire time. We had to find out via social media. During the time prior to this, she convinced us the place wasn't worth the asking price (which it was 8 months prior), how much this "buyer" wanted the place and had been working "two jobs" (trying to guilt us into coming down, etc. She initiated a "Seller's Assist" that we didn't agree to and didn't know exactly what it meant. And things continued to get worse from there to the point where she allowed the prospective Buyer to have the keys to the house and buildings and the buyer actually started moving in and dismantling the house inside to her liking over a week BEFORE the closing and on OUR BILLS (and liability). We wouldn't recommend Shannon to anyone. And if you do choose her, you better see who her friends are every time she wants to show it.

Shannon seemed fine in the beginning. We did not have an expensive place to sell like some of her other listings but she did seem to be happy to list it for us in the beginning. She knew we were quickly moving out of state -- and across the country -- and we would depend on her a lot to keep us up-to-date. She knew we had a couple of friends keeping an eye on the place and going in occasionally to freshen it up, make sure things were okay, etc. However, in June of this year, Shannon notified us of a prospective buyer who desperately wanted the place but her lender wouldn't let her have a loan just yet. Supposedly had to get her credit score up just a little more, etc. Then, it appeared she was finally ready and we entered into an agreement to sell it to her. However, Shannon kept laying on us guilt about how the buyer was "working two jobs" and how our house "wasn't worth the asking price" etc. -- even though we agreed on the asking price months prior. She talked us down in price and then talked us into allowing the buyer to "mow" the lawn until the sale was final. That was fine but that was all that was to be done. By August since the sale and closing were drawn out endlessly (seemingly), we hadn't even had the closing yet and we found out that the buyer and her family had keys to the house and out buildings and was already moving in! On our insurance. Our utilities. Etc. Shannon at first tried to deny she gave them the keys but then started apologizing profusely to my husband after he told her that she could lose her license for the things she was letting go on (there was more -- much more). On top of all this, we found out in july that she is "friends" with this Buyer -- on social media and socially. She NEVER disclosed any of this to us at all. Therefore, we feel she took advantage of us in this sale by getting us to come down substantially in the price, allowing the buyer in the house before it was even hers, etc. We have notified the brokers/owner's of Century 21 and we have so far filed complaints with the BBB and with a licensing agency out of Harrisburg. We will by filing further complaints with the Realtor's Association this week. We hired Shannon based on her great feedback and selling history. However, we learned a hard lesson. Sadly, one of our friends who has been watching the house for us told us Shannon had also flipped a home and sold it to her son a few years ago and the place ended up being a dump and they felt they were also misrepresented. We wish we had known this before we contracted with her. We also feel like she felt she could take liberties with us an our home because we are 18 hours away across the country -- so what could we do. We are more disappointed than you can possibly imagine in this whole scenario. There is a lot more to this but this is the general gist. We would not go with or recommend Shannon to anyone in the future.

Shannon is very knowledgeable, honest, and helpful.She is patient and understanding. She always returns calls in a timely manner and sets up appointments promptly and conveniently.We have been looking for a place for a while now, and we are sure with her help, we will find one. She has showed us several that she found as well as we found. We haven't bought yet, but she is aware of what we are looking for and keeps us up to date on any she feels we may like. She was referred to us by my son, and I am glad she was.It's a pleasure working with her.
