1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Always use a Real Estate Agent! They will be an advocate in your corner to protect you and help you find the right home for you, all at the sellers expense. That's right! There is no cost to you to use an agent to buy a home. The commission is paid by the seller at closing.
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Put your best foot forward. Make a little extra effort to make your home appealing and presentable to the buyer. Take time to find an agent that you feel comfortable with, listens to your concerns, answers your questions and is knowledgeable about the market and your neighborhood.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
First time home buyers, New build construction, Retired Couples, Families in life transitions. Really a little bit of everything!
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
I had this great couple that moved here from California and bought a house that was full of antiques. They were such pleasant people and the home was quite interesting with all it had inside of it. The transaction went well and my clients were so happy with their purchase even thought it was going to be a lot of work!
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
I had a cleaning business that I ran and worked. After 15 years I wanted to do something new. My husband does remodels and custom kitchens, so we had always been interested in Real Estate. We went to a seminar on flipping houses and I decided that I wanted to get a Real Estate license. I found that I liked helping people with their dreams and needs. It's a great feeling when we close and they are so excited about their new home.
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
Licensed Notary, Compassion - I am a leader in Ministry and I love helping people, All the years of cleaning business has given me an eye for detail, I have good knowledge of construction and resources needed.
