What a great experience it was working with Kim Miller. Our situation was much like so many others--husband was being transferred to Utah so we needed to sell our house in Texas with as little headaches as possible. I do not think our Texas house would have sold as quickly or easily had we not worked with Kim.In the beginning, I decided that we would wait until we moved to Utah to sell the Texas house. I did not want the headache of showings and trying to have the house in pristine condition while my kindergartener and I lived at home alone (my husband was already in Utah). After coming over and looking at our house, Kim suggested that I take a weekend trip to visit Utah and allow her to do an open house while I was gone and before we moved to Utah. I was hesitant but she explained that after seeing our home, it would show so much better with our furniture in it. Her logic made sense. Her advice for prepping home for the open house was spot on--which items to move into garage; hide in closets; put away, etc. It took a week to get the house "open house" ready but I followed her advice and boy, am I glad I did! I know that following her advice is the reason our house sold so quickly and sold above asking price.Speaking of pricing....Kim spent time reviewing the market, the listings, the recently sold, and the market news. You could see that she cared and wanted to price our house perfectly in order to accomplish OUR goals. Client goals are always different and those goals will affect strategy. Kim took all of that into consideration when pricing our house.When the offers came in, she organized every offer and presented them to me in a logical way so that I could review before acceptance.The items required for closing (disclosures and documents that are federally/state regulated) were always on time and I was prepared for each document. Kim's system of reminders and ensuring that documents are sent in a timely manner made my job easy. I knew everything was being taken care of and that Kim knew exactly where we were in the process. Home buying/home selling is stressful. Having Kim with you on the journey makes it less so, and she also brings a ton of fun and smiles!
