Sean McMillan

Sean McMillan has a well-deserved reputation as being respected as one of the most knowledgeable licensed brokers in Westside Los Angeles. With more than 1,000 successful transactions to his credit since 1985, he has helped countless buyers and sellers achieve their real estate goals. A third-generation native Angeleno raised on the Westside, he offers invaluable local expertise -- including unique insights into its history, neighborhoods, schools, parks, and other amenities and resources -- coupled with a deep understanding of market trends. Sean began developing his real estate skill set at a young age. Born into a family of professionals who defined West LA real estate, he grew up with a passion for the industry. His career has covered all aspects of the business, including home sales, title insurance, and mortgage brokering. One of the best decisions Sean ever made was forming a partnership with Heyler's co-director, Jae Wu. After working at a top firm together for several years, Sean and Jae realized their diverse talents and similar life philosophies made them an unstoppable team. They joined forces in 2005, and in 2011, they purchased Heyler Realty. Sean and Jae approach each transaction as a team, providing clients seamless concierge care and more than 60 years of LA real estate expertise. In all aspects of his life and work, Sean leads with compassion and integrity. He has received multiple awards from the cities of Los Angeles and Santa Monica for his numerous civic and charitable efforts, which include being the co-creator and treasurer for the Westwood Neighborhood Greenway, the President of West LA Homeless - a nonprofit he created to connect unhoused people with service, and the founder of Santa Monica Chess Park. He serves as homeless committee chair on the Westside Neighborhood Council. He's happily married to Jill McMillan, one of the genius chefs behind Mac and Ivy, and he's a proud father of four. When he's not spending time with his family or volunteering, Sean enjoys gardening, hiking, biking, and all sorts of ocean-related activities, among many other interests.
