He is kind, not pushy, and made the process go from start to finish with no complications. The photos of the house were wonderful and he posted a lot of them. He let me have input on the description of the house on the posting as I know the house better than anyone. The result was a house purchase contract within two days and a seamless closing.As an added bonus, I needed ceiling repair before listing and he sent over a wonderful man who completed the work on my house in an hour or so. He was originally expected to be working on Scott's own house.

I worked with Scott twice, first to buy my first home about 3 years ago, and then again to sell that same home this year. During both transactions, he was always responsive, helped explain things, answered questions clearly, and provided excellent council and advice. I was a first time homebuyer when I worked with Scott to buy the house. He listened to what I wanted in a property, asked follow up questions, and kept an eye on the market to make sure he would know as soon as something came up that I would like. He called me about 2 hours after the house hit the market and said aEURoeI really think youre going to like it. I know you had a long day at work but trust me. Get in your car, meet me there in half an hour.aEUR? And sure enough, when I got to the house, it was exactly what I was looking for. He walked me through the process of writing the contract, and helped guide me through everything else that followed. When it came time to sell my house this year, I immediately reached out to Scott asking if he was available to work with me, and he responded that same day. He assessed the house and gave really good feed back on the things I needed to take care of and the things that were less important. He also had really good tips and tricks for inexpensive things we could do that would significantly increase salability. We received multiple offers on the house within 24 hours of it being listed, and he helped lay out the strengths and weaknesses of each offer so that I could make an informed decision about which one to accept. Once the house was under contract, he provided status updates and gave me the heads up when I was going to be receiving forms or information via email. He was always just a text or email away if I had questions. He was always easy to get ahold of and if he said he was going to take care of something, he took care of it right away. Scott is professional, knowledgeable, and overall a great person to work with. I would work with him again, and would recommend him to anyone!

My wife and I were looking for a house in the Moseley Virginia area and did not want to go find a realtor blindly. We asked our realtor who helped us buy and sell our last house for a recommendation. Our realtor took his time to get us a recommendation because he clearly did his homework when suggesting Scott.We lived in New Jersey, so we were mostly checking out houses on Zillow, sending Scott our picks and getting his suggestions of other options. He worked closely with us for about 3 to 4 weeks before we came down to see houses. We gave Scott a tall order being that we wanted to see about 20 to 25 houses in less than two days time and make an offer that weekend. He told us that it was not very feasible and that we would be rushed, but we insisted that's what we wanted to do. He did not try to talk us out of it further, he just made it happen.Once we got down to Moseley, Scott greeted us at the first house and we got right to work. My wife and I moved at a breakneck speed checking out houses and saying yes or no to if we were interested very quickly. Often we were very ahead of schedule to see each next house, but Scott kept up with us and shuffled appointments around so we could keep moving and not have to wait.Once we settled in on a few prime picks, Scott brought us back as many times as we requested and very early on that second day we had our pick.It was the first day the house is on the market and we took it. Scott was very honest and provided guidance when it came to making an offer. I think without his suggestions we might have not gotten the house we wanted.After our offer was accepted, we had to come up with our preapproval letter. Unfortunately, my wife forgot it in New Jersey and we were in a position where we might lose the house. Because it was a Saturday, our bank was closed and we wouldn't be able to get the approval letter until Monday. This didn't phase Scott at all, instead he got us on the phone with a new lender who got us approval on the loan with a much lower interest rate than our credit union. All this happened as we were driving back and had not gotten 25-mile out. This saved us a small fortune and maybe even saved us getting this house.After we got into attorney review, Scott took care of the negotiations after the inspections and walked us through every aspect of the closing. Even after the closing he was our advocate and guide through a lot of the minor issues that popped up. One last note, Scott gave us the most thoughtful and clever gift once we purchased the house. This shows his thoughtfulness and ingenuity and providing something that is so cool and unique. You might want to buy a house from him, just to see what I'm talking about. ;-DI would highly suggest Scott as your realtor. He did a great job for us and I'm sure he'll do a great job for you.
Communication with Scott was always encouraging. In 6 months the outcome of selling our property [land & a home] two separate contracts was positive & successful.

Scott helped my sisters and me sell two pieces of land in Hopewell VA. With Scott as our realtor, the first piece sold smoothly. We ran into some complications with the second piece, but Scott took all the steps and jumped through all the hoops for us, and in the end that piece was sold also. Both pieces sold at the prices we wanted. My sisters and I are not VA residents - we live in MD, so we put all our confidence in Scott to sell our VA property. We never had to travel to VA for any reason because Scott handled everything with great expertise and professionalism.
