Thank you for taking your time to learn a little about me. If the shoe was on the other foot and I was looking to sell my home or purchase, I would want to know a little about the person that I am hiring too? We may be spending a lot of time together! I am a native of this beautiful Driftless Coulee Region area. I grew up around the La Crosse area in the country and spent a short time around Winona, Mn. I live in Trempealeau County out in the country. The beauty of the coulee region area, friendly people of our communities and the ability to do many diverse activities; I cannot see myself living anywhere else. My husband and I have 1 son, Colton; 6 Arabian and Morgan horses, 1 mini donkey (E-ore is his name), and of course the family dog. I'm a country gal! I love to garden, ride horses, kayak, cross country ski, restore older homes, read a good book, and drink a fine glass of red wine. Eat cheese. I'm a Wisconsinite! My past background is in property management, renovation, and restoration of older homes. I grew up working on properties with my family as our family business along with beef farming. Before starting my real estate career in 2004, I purchased my own homes to remodel and restore. I do have some rental properties that I own and manage. We also enjoy restoring an old home from time to time. Our last 3 projects were all in Fountain City. We started the ?Great River Road Inns? which is being run by new owners now. These beautiful older homes that founded our communities need preservation and restoration to endure another 100+ years of life. We also own the ?Golden Frog Restaurant and Saloon and The Lily Pad? in Fountain City, Wi. The Frog is a historic saloon and supper club which dates to 1878. The Lily Pad is a spin-off and sits across the street from The Frog right on the Mississippi River. It was the original Foundry in Fountain City . We kept and restored the hand-hewn timber structure and there is a large bar overlooking the river, plenty of patio space to enjoy the views, and a playground for the kids. Wood Fire pizzas on the weekends and sand volleyball leagues. Great place to have an event or enjoy some downtime. Both establishments have really neat history and if you ever stop in, make sure you look at all the old photos. Hiring me, you will see how hard I work for my clients.
