Buying a Single Family House in the Bay area is a huge challenge. Samit was able to help us guide through this process. The house hunting process lasted 2-3 months. Samit would go to various houses with us and provide a balanced view. It did not feel like he made us rush our decision to get a commission. Even for the house we did end up buying, Samit provided both pros and cons. Originally we had given up on that house, but Samit took the initiative and negotiated the price down by around 80k which made us change our mind. His business model is different from other agents. He does not provide cash back incentive, but he is able to do that because he is confident about his contacts and local knowledge that should help the buyer complete their purchase sooner. He is a responsive agent and may save more money on negotiation than other cashback type agents.
