Ryan walked us through the process, explained the aEURoecompsaEUR? in our neighborhood and told us the asking price we should consider.After we pulled the trigger, the rest of the process was quite smooth. Ryan sent a photographer to our home, wrote up the description of the property and handled the endless details.Yes, every real estate agent has to do this stuff, but I think you might appreciate this part: Ryan continued to call us and kept us informed of the status of the sale. He wanted us to know details on the potential buyers and why we might not accept an offer from them.Instead of taking the highest dollar offer, Ryan chooses to do his homework and learn if the potential buyer actually has the capacity to follow through, when it comes to making a downpayment and getting a loan. Oftentimes, people grab at the best offer, only to see it fall through at escrow, because the real estate agent didnt do his due diligence. This will NOT be the case with Ryan McKee and his associates. So when the offers came through, and there were a lot, Ryan sifted through the ones that would actually go through the escrow process. Ryan most certainly delivered.I don't know anything about real estate. This was our first time selling a home and Ryan earned every penny of his commission. ZillowVERIFIED McKee Real Estate Group was a fantastic one-stop-shop. I got a last-minute job offer, which took my wife and me out of 33 years of living in Southern California to Northern California. I did know whether we should rent our current home or sell it. When I called Ryan, without any pressure, either way, he recommended a rental management company for us to consult. He even connected us with a financial planner to help us with ways to hold the money from the house selling if we wanted to buy at a later time. Once we decided that renting was not the route we wanted to go, he was setting up the marketing and days for pictures. He gave us his price sheet and costs breakdown right out the gate. Honesty and transparency are McKees selling points. We moved up North and got a rental. Ryan quickly got our home on the real estate market and connected us with a fantastic loan provider and a real estate agent in the new area. All these groups had done business together in the past, so it made the whole process of moving out, selling, buying, and escrow very easy. Ryan was able to get every penny we could get out of our old house in Southern California. There was no money left on the table. The escrow process with his assistant Amy also made everything easy. All documents were able to be signed online. There was even an incidence that needed notarization; Amy coordinated that long-distance where we currently live. Amy was always communicating on the phone or sending us text messages anytime there was an update or a document that needed a signature. The whole process went amazingly smoothly. Our old home sold, and we got locked in on an amazing interest rate. Our new home is currently in escrow, 5 minutes from the beach, in beautiful Marina, CA. I have worked with many agents in the past, and I truly felt in my heart they did not do anything to earn the commission they were being paid. I expressed my concerns to Ryan and listened. Here are a few of the typical problems I have had with agents in the past: not responsive or would not return phone calls in a timely manner, they did not have knowledge of the local area, they attempted to convince me my house would not sell at the price it sold for in this market, and the one I heard the most was you should wait until first quarter, fourth quarter is the slowest. Ryans can do attitude made me feel like he was working for me and on my side, when I told him what we wanted to ask for our home, he said "Let's go for it". Other agents told me they would not list at our price. Anytime we called or texted Ryan he was quick to respond which we appreciated. My wife always says a good agent is worth his weight in gold, in my humble opinion Ryan is a golden agent...
