About Ryan Maddy

Licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Oregon helping people buy or sale homes from the Willamette Valley to the Oregon Coast. Highly motivated, great communicator, skilled negotiator, relentless work ethic and personable Realtor who always puts the clients needs and wants first. One of my goals is to make this process go as smooth as possible, during this sometimes uncomfortable and stressful time of selling or buying. I've been in Real Estate 4 years and have found great success early on. In each of my first 3 full years I was awarded consecutive Coldwell Banker International Society awards given to the top 10% and 15% of all Coldwell Banker agents worldwide. I've attributed my early success to the above mentioned attributes and my strong willingness to help others reach their goals. It's not just a single transaction for me, it's about becoming your forever Realtor! After graduating from Western Oregon University with a Bachelors degree in Physical Education with Business minor, I made the decision to go a different path. After working in customer service for almost 8 years it was time to start a career I had great passion about, which was Real Estate! I've always been fascinated with it and have always watched the market. You could say it's in my blood, as my late grandmother was a realtor!

I think Ryan could have been more proactive in selling my house. I also feel that he maybe didn't have the experience I expected to find in a real estate person. It wasn't until I prodded that he agreed to have an open house. After he changed lock boxes and my garage opener didn't fit, it was up to me to have the house available for access. Since I was living there I didn't mind so much it just seemed that the onus was placed on me rather than him taking the initiative. I also felt he was more interested in the administration side rather than the sales side. These were my impressions. I explained clearly the first time we met that I was no expert on home sales and was looking to him for guidance. I also was clear that I wanted $375K "in my pocket" at the end. This did not happen. He later stated that he didn't hear me make that statement. My over all impression is that he is a very nice person who needs more experience "selling" homes rather than waiting for them to sell.
